Who are Scottish Wedding Consultants?
Scottish Wedding Consultants was formed in 1997 by Yvonne and is still run as a small family run business with Yvonne at the helm, and her husband Steve.
This approach means that we deal with things personally and we differ to many companies who ‘farm out’ work to part-time consultants who have little involvement or emotional connection with their clients. All our work is done by ourselves, and all communication is with us alone.
Our reputation has taken many years to establish and we truly believe it is this level of personal service that has helped us stand the test of time.
We believe in professionalism, integrity and total customer service, something that is well recognised within the Wedding Industry in Scotland.
Yvonne graduated from Edinburgh’s Napier University in 1992 with an Biology Honours degree and after a number of years in the Pharmaceutical Industry, her event planning skills came to the fore as her job role changed. Then in 1997 after our own marriage the previous year, Scottish Wedding Consultants was born.
One thing we pride ourselves in is keeping track of the latest trends and styles within the weddings industry. So not only are we in step with the latest ideas, services and suppliers, but we are in tune with what our clients want.
We think it’s being old enough to have the experience and to do things professionally and correctly, but young enough to want to have some fun too!!
We’re relaxed and very easy to talk to and we’re available for a chat most of the day, so if anything is worrying you during the planning stage, you can drop us an email or give us a call and you’ll get a prompt reply.

Our website actually has a ‘clients only’ section which holds a huge resource for links and ideas which will help you plan your trip whilst in Scotland.
We’ll do all the wedding related planning but obviously you’ll want to go and do something else while you are here. So the website ‘clients pages’ have lots of ideas and tips, from great places to stay, superb places to eat and drink for all budgets, cool things to visit and of course some fun stuff too.
