Once upon a time in a land far, far away, a simple country gentleman hoped to marry a beautiful princess --- that dream came true.
In a fairy tale setting, under beautiful skies, and in a Castle befitting such a lovely bride, we tied the bonds of Holy Matrimony.
In a day packed with life-long memories, through the guidance of Yvonne and Tracy, our wedding in Dalhousie Castle was spectacular.
From the Piper piping the Bride through the center of the Castle to the Chapel.
To the truly breathtaking experience of seeing my bride-to-be gliding down the stairs of the chapel, to the tears of joy in the exchange of vows. There were no memories of that day that will not live on forever.
The wedding ceremony itself, so moving and personal, performed by the Minister with the assistance of his lovely wife could never be forgotten.
There were countless other small touches looked over by Yvonne from the flowers to the wedding cake to the beautiful wedding gift of pure Scottish tradition and much, much more.
The highlights we experienced were so numerous it would take a book, not just a few notes, to express them all.
Iain, our Piper's knowledge of the customs of Scotland and including us in them made us feel even more a part of Scotland, not just visitors.
Before, during, and after the ceremony, the excellence and professionalism of both the photographer (Walter) and videographer (Steve) were outstanding. They were more like members of the family as they shared in our joy and added to our experience.
Yvonne, Tracy, Iain, Steve, Walter, Minister Underwood, and his wife all made the day complete.
Thank You all again and especially Yvonne for making everything come together so smoothly and quickly.
She also very efficiently handled any bumps that came our way.
All your efforts helped keep any anxiety regarding the ceremony completely away from us.
Even though our trip would go on to include honeymooning in Paris and London, Scotland and Dalhousie Castle will hold the highest position in our hearts and minds.
