Today is a perfect day to answer back, 11 months ago today we left for your wonderful country.
First off I'm very sorry we didn't email sooner but Deanna and I want to thank Yvonne (and you to Steve for the background support) for putting together a perfect day for us.
The rest of our two weeks there were just as fantastic ! The weather was even perfect. It only rained the day of the wedding and the following afternoon. We even made it up to the Orkneys (where Deanna's ancestry is from) with nary a drop of rain.
In fact the trip was so fantastic that we plan on coming back for a six month stay in the next couple of years. Then if that goes well enough, setting up a second home in the Scotland
Scotland is everything we dreamed it would be.
Of course you two had a large part in making that dream real for us."
